I’ve been following the meal plan she gave me for over a month now and have gone from 205 lbs at 13% bodyfat to maintaining my weight (which is what I wanted to do) but lowering my body fat down to 10%. I’ve noticed a major increase in my energy levels and a major difference in vascularity. Male or female she can get the job done. 5 stars across the board, highly recommend!!

I haven’t been able to get back into the swing of working out ever since Covid and I’ve been doing personal training with Abby for about a month and a half now. For those who are like me, Abby will help motivate you and make working out fun even. She also creates a super accepting environment, which I think is really important, especially for those who aren’t happy with their bodies or where they are at in their fitness journey. I cannot say enough good things about Absworkout. I personally train 2 days a week with Hannah and she encourages and pushes me. Mind you I haven’t worked out in years. And I have done Saturday circuits and challenge groups with Abby who is equally amazing with her positive attitude and encouragement. Both of these ladies are absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable. I highly recommend Absworkout even if you are a beginner they will get you where you want to be. Love them!!

I started working out with Abby 6 months ago after not working out for many years. Being in my mid 50’s I was scared to start but I decided it was time. I quickly learned to enjoy my one on one time strength training. I love how she challenges me during each session and her expertise and the time she takes to explain my workout to me. I also love getting the gym experience in a smaller atmosphere. Abby is the best and wants best for me!

Two months ago I started working out with my current personal trainer Hannah Sontag. She is a fabulous trainer, just the right combination of push and encouragement. She listens and makes adjustments where needed so I get a great workout. I am starting to get more flexible, leaner and gain muscle which makes me keep wanting to push forward.

I've been working with Abby doing strength training since last November. I can't say enough good things about her. My strength has drastically improved. She watches my form, so I never worry about injury. She challenges me but always with consideration and kindness, not a "drill Sargent" approach. And the routine is always different to work all muscles as well as including cardio. I'm 64 years old and am improving with every session. If you want to improve through personal training, she's who you want to see.

Abby is exactly what I needed to finally start my fitness journey. I have been training with her for 3 months and have lost weight, built muscle and gained someone who is really in my corner and wants to see me reach my goals. She is friendly and supportive, holds me accountable, pushes me to work harder than I think I can and she makes working out something I have come to actually enjoy and not dread. 5 stars isn’t enough for Abby & everyone at Abs! I absolutely love this gym! Abby is an incredible trainer—she knows exactly how to push you while still making the workouts enjoyable. Every class challenges me in the best way, and I can genuinely feel myself getting stronger each time.

Joining ABS has been one of the best things I’ve done for both my physical and mental health. The instructors are incredibly motivating and supportive - they truly push you to keep growing while still making workouts feel doable and fun. I’ve become stronger and more confident because of their encouragement and energy.

What really sets this gym apart is the community. From the instructors to the incredible women in class, everyone is welcoming and encouraging, and it genuinely feels like a place where people want to see each other succeed. I've been going to see Abby for personal training for a little over 6 months. She has been really flexible when it comes to schedule changes and she is really personable. The sessions fly by, not just because I'm working hard, but because we're just gabbing away. Abby challenges me (in a good way) and I can tell the difference in how my clothes fit, my energy levels, and endurance. I would highly recommend training with her!

I absolutely love this gym and Abby, the owner!! The atmosphere is energetic and welcoming. The trainers are all super sweet but push you to be a better you. Tons of machines, free weights, yoga mats, etc. The gym is always clean. I would never go anywhere else. There are so many options here, personal training, yoga classes, weight lifting classes, kickboxing classes, etc. You can't go wrong with choosing ABS!!

I started at Abs Workout Plans by joining one of the challenges in May 2024. My purpose for this was to get back into a workout/nutrition routine. I seen such results that I kept going. I have now been working with Abby personally for about 8 months with an on-line workout plan. She is amazing!!! She personalizes a plan to fit your needs. She motivates you to push through and get your goals completed and prepares you for the next ones. She is great about checking in to make sure you are doing ok and have everything you need. Absolutely five stars!!!

I have been working out at Abs Workout for about 18 months, and I started training w Abby in the last 3 months. Abby personalizes her workouts to fit your body, your needs and your goals. She has a sense of urgency with her follow up and with ensuring that she is meeting your needs. She pushes you to do your best and encourages you when you are struggling. I would highly recommend Abby as a trainer.

5 stars for sure! I have been going to the ABS Workout Plans classes since they opened. Abby is awesome and does a great job of making you feel at home in her gym.

I feel supported as a patron and also as a fellow small business owner. The classes are awesome! I love the setup and then the motivation that I get after I leave. I feel like I could conquer the world.

She is also very accommodating to different body types and situations where I have some injuries that I need to be careful with.

Abbie and her team are very knowledgeable. They meet everyone at their own individual level in group classes, providing modifications and guidance with exercise moves. The people you work out with in classes are nothing but encouraging and helpful. In over a year, I’ve never experienced an intimidating or uncomfortable class experience. I also utilize their personal training services; at (almost) 52 years of age, the personal training has been such a help with some of my chronic pain issues and been key in improving my endurance and mobility. The facility is spacious and clean; easy to locate right off the I-255 Godfrey exit. You can also find nutritional support and guidance through Abbie and her staff. The variety of workout classes will meet your needs- Cardio, strength training, endurance, flexibility. No matter where you are in your fitness/wellness journey (it’s NEVER too late to start!). ABS will help you develop goals and achieve them, one workout at a time!

I have been working out at ABS Workout Plan since September. They have an In-body scan (see picture below) that shows you your muscle, strength and fat loss as you progress through your fitness journey. I recently did a 6 week challenge in the fall of 2024 and was extremely happy with the progress! Abby plans tailored workouts and nutrition plans for each individual and gives tips and encouragement throughout your training!

In fact, I am still working out twice a week in the morning, plus cardio kickboxing once a week in the evening, and I just signed up for the 8 week winter challenge that starts January 20, 2025. SIGN UP! Only thing you have to lose is weight but you gain SO MUCH MORE (Strength, Endurance, Stamina, Self-Esteem, Muscle, Mobility, Motivation and more)!

The atmosphere is amazing and it’s not just the coaches it’s the clients who go there too! Whether you are new to the fitness world or a pro at it, everyone is working towards the same goal and willing to help you achieve yours! Don’t let your lack of experience or age deter you! I had zero experience with weights and just turned 55. I have improved my overall health numbers in just the little time that I have started with ABS Workout Plan.

Love the fact that the instructors actually care about their clients! They are willing to work with you to achieve your goals by showing the correct way of exercising and weightlifting. Can’t say enough good things about ABS Workout Plans!!

I have loved going to Abs Workout Plans for the past 8 months. I have been to several other gyms and did not feel comfortable performing weight training on my own, or felt intimated by others in a gym setting. Abby and her staff are amazing at making me feel welcome and even missed when I am gone! They take the time to well you through things, motivate me to keep up and push me beyond what I would do if I was training on my own. The other women that attend classes are so friendly and encouraging too-we have fun working out! Abby is a professional and super easy to talk to and she truly wants you to succeed in your goals! I see the results I want when I put in the work consistently and appreciate the help i get along the way. So glad I found this place!
I have been going to ABS Workout Plans for the past year. I absolutely love everything about this gym. The instructors are very knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable. It is a very welcoming environment from the instructors and others in the class. The classes are typically less than 10 people, so it is not overwhelming.
Abby, Hannah, and Brooke are amazing instructors.
Classes are great prices and there are many options for how many classes you can buy.
The gym is very clean.

Every single workout I’ve done at ABS has left me sweaty, sore, and feeling great! I cannot help but telling everyone I work out there…I’ve become one of those people who always has to let others know I’m headed to the gym.

I first went to ABS at 12 weeks postpartum and Abby immediately made sure I felt comfortable with all the workouts. She took the time to work with me for each movement, and she provided suggestions on other exercises that would be manageable with my weaker core (and designed to strengthen it!) I’m not new to exercise and the gym, but I loved the attention Abby gave me in a group class — it made me feel like I was in a one-on-one session. She motivates you without being pressure or a condescending tone (like you’ll get with some gyms…)

With two kids, I can really only make it to a few classes a week but they are so worth it. The Women’s Weightlifting class instantly welcomed me into the fold with zero judgement and the gals are all so encouraging and motivating! Whether you attend a class led by Abby, Brooke, or Hannah (or any of the trainers but I've only done those three’s classes) you’ll work up a sweat and have a blast.
